There is a musical style in the South were they take a song, remixes it, and turns it into a funky genre called chopped and screwed.
In their first meeting on September 24, the Indianapolis Colts beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-14. So when it was time for the second match-up on Sunday, the Jaguars decided to do the remix.
Jacksonville chopped up the Colts’ defense, rushing for 375 yards, second most since the ’70 merger, en route to a 44-17 victory and in doing so keeping their playoffs chances alive.
Even with Fred Taylor rushing for 131 yards (76 on one run), the veteran was outshined by rookie Maurice Jones-Drew who rushed for a career high 166 yards and two scores, ending the game with 303 all-purpose yards that includes a 93 yard kickoff return for another score.
If Indianapolis doesn’t fix their run D, and fix it quickly, Sunday’s song will not be the only remix in the Colt’s crate.

- SAINTified…Going into Sunday night, the Dallas Cowboys were as hot as the equator, until a cool Brees chilled them off as the New Orleans Saints beat the Cowboys 42-17 as quarterback Drew Brees threw for 384 yards and 5 TDs.
And finally…Congratulations to San Diego’s running back LaDainian Tomlinson for scoring touchdown number 29 for the season, setting the NFL single season mark in the Chargers 48-20 win over the Denver Broncos.
